Celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ Pride Month - June 2023

It's time to celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ Pride Month! School District No. 48 believes that we have a responsibility to ensure all schools are inclusive and safe spaces for students, staff and families of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Let's join together to celebrate diversity and create supportive environments where everyone can thrive! After all, one of our core enduring understandings is that "diversity is a strength." Principal's Message

Sea to Sky School District has a clear mission: the success of all students. The District has high expectations for excellence across the curriculum—in academics, athletics, fine arts and career programs. There is also a keen awareness that students learn best in a safe, secure and respectful environment supported by strong connections between school and community.

We are pleased to welcome students from over 30 countries who come to study, learn about Canada and explore our amazing outdoors.  Our International team is here to help you and encourage you to make the most of this wonderful opportunity, academically, socially and actively!

The School District is unique in the diverse communities it serves. There are three major population centres: Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. The District also serves six Aboriginal communities: Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw, Lil’wat Nation, N’Quatqua Band, Samhquam Ucwalmicw, Skatin Nations, Xa’xtsa and the Metis, Inuit and Off-Reserve Aboriginal Nations.

Even though each community has its own unique set of needs and interests, there is a spirit of collaboration at work in the District reflected in our vision statement:

“Students love to learn here!”
